Professional Experience:
Acute care experience in Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic nursing. I
began teaching nursing at San Diego City College in August, 2000 as
an Adjunct Clinical Instructor and have been full-time faculty as an
Assistant Professor since January, 2007. It is an honor to be
working for such a prestigious college.
My teaching skills focus to enhance students
communication skills, critical thinking skills, and to become safe
practitioners. These skills will allow the students to demonstrate
to be autonomous and to be able to collaborate with other health
care professionals to provide safe and quality nursing care to their
patients and family members.
