District Web Policy Guidelines
- All web pages/sites
must contain the name of the department or person responsible (contact
information for the individual subject area), and a last revision
date. It is best for user friendliness and
consistency to include this at the bottom of all of your pages just
above the college navigational include file.
- E-mail address of Content
Manager (person responsible for accuracy - web author) and date of last
revision must be on all web default pages (your home page).
- Content Managers should
determine if information they wish to post already exists on district or
college web pages, and if so, link to it instead. For common links to our
district site please refer to City
Guidelines.
- Websites/pages must be
accessible. (Please see City
Guidelines referring to creating a "text-only"
back up of your site).
- District office, colleges
and Centers for Education and Technology websites will contain a
disclaimer regarding accuracy and currency. This disclaimer is included
for you as a link to our sites disclaimer in the bottom navigation on all
of your pages that the college provides for you by way of an "include"
file.
- Note: Non-SDCCD personnel
should not be given access to the district's servers.
